We’ve been home from our camping trip for two weeks now, and the kids have had some stomach aches off and on, and have been squirting quite a lot of water out of their butts. We just assumed they picked up something at school. Last night on the news, we heard that Beverly Beach, as well as another popular coastal swimming area, had been closed to swimmers because of “evidence of fecal contamination.” That’s just wonderful to know that my kids are sick because they were swimming in someone’s crap.
It does make me giggle, however, when I think about the famous scene in Caddyshack.
