Steven’s funeral
Steven’s funeral was last Wednesday. Things are finally starting to get back to normal. I have a bunch of stupid things that tick me off swimming around in my head, and I’ll post those here soon.

Billy and Matt’s good friend Steven died this morning. I don’t really feel like writing anything more now.

I’m filling out the forms the bank sent to me. They want me to list all the disputed charges, which, if all the non-bank ATM fees and balance statements are included (and I am including them), total more than 15 items. They gave me two (2) blank lines on the form, with instructions to fill in the rest on the back or on a separate sheet of paper if more room is needed.
Would it be so hard for them to just include another form with all the necessary columns ready to be filled in?

Kathy and I took the kids to see The Matrix: Reloaded tonight, and loved most of it. If you’ve not seen the first movie (yeah, right) and have no idea about the premise, you will probably be lost through most of this one. That shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the incredible car, motorcycle and semi-truck freeway chase scene, though, or the fight scene with Neo vs. 100-or-so Agent Smiths.
But a love scene? Did we really need to see that? I knew going into it that it was rated R, but so was the first movie, and I have no problem letting our five year old daughter Lexi watch that on DVD occasionally. She was probably the youngest person in the theater. It’s not too graphic, though; in fact, I don’t think there was any actual nudity (except for Neo’s bare rear from afar.)

I really hate low-life criminal dirtbags. Our primary checking account was drained of $1060 over the week-end. Somehow, four withdrawals were made from ATMs in the Los Angeles area. Someone must have manufactured a card with my debit card number encoded on the magnetic stripe, and had my PIN number as well.
The bank is crediting our account the full amount, and reversing the insufficient funds charges this caused as well.
